[boost] boost.h

With the advent of config.hpp, does boost.h (included from directory.h)
have a place any more?  It seems that its functionality should be rolled
into config.hpp.

Also, how did directory.h manage to avoid getting its extension
converted to .hpp?  Finally, one other issue with dir_it: it is the only
library for which the library name != the header file name.  This is not
necessarily bad, but there should be a good reason for deviating from
the de facto convention.
