The initial recommendation was just as a reference for information about local
rules.

MAN!!! I really hate brain farts :) I meant 3.0 beta. They took tmake,
expanded it and wrote it in c++. Available at
ftp://ftp.trolltech.com/qt/source. If you don't have a fast internet
connection, I can extract the qmake part into a tarball for you.
