Big mistake. Never ask the legal department for permission....

It would seem reasonable to have a single license, but all of the issues you
raised seem valid to me. We might want to develop a "standard boost license"
and then just flag any libraries which have a compatible but different license
as required by a University or whatever.

On the other hand, I see no reason why boosters should waste their valuable time
to accommodate companies that choose to waste their time and $$ on a legal
departments that can't evaluate a few simple header files with statements
written in clear English....
