Nope, both MSVC 6.5 and 7.0 respond "fatal error C1021: invalid preprocessor
command 'warning'" to this:

    #warning "does it work?"

The correct way to write the above would be

    #pragma message("does it work?")

I've checked in the fix into CVS.
