[boost] line-eater?

Now I'm positive that sometimes, some words or entire lines are removed from
the messages.
I remember that case of Nicola Mussati... some words were missing and a
statement didn't make sense, so he wrote it again.. but it showed again
without those words... looked sort of funny :-)

What can be done?
