Not to speak of the fact that as soon as you try to get the
"specification" of that representation (actually the error is in the
definite article "the" :-) you are in big, big trouble (Can four be
represented by "IIII"? Yes? And when? What epoch? When not? What are
the rules for subtraction? Again, when?). Keep in mind that the we are
referring to an enormous period of history
