No argument in favor of the macros? Yes, I see that. I was just trying
to understand Peter's point, and your subsequent reply about catch-all
handlers being the only ones replaceable by RAII. Peter, do you have a
concrete example? I can't imagine a situation where being transparent
is so important.

PS: I'm a nuisance, I know :)
