[boost] newbie...please assist

Can some one point in me in the right direction:
Environment: RHEL 3.2.3-47
Compiler: GCC 3.2.3
BOOST Library: xpressive
Issue:
Trying the example found in the xpressive.pdf on page 31and I keep getting the following message.  Can someone help?
