I think that that form of comparison is unfair without stating ahead
of time that you will be using it. It's perfectly plausible that
people replying would not mention something that had already been
brought up and not yet been addressed by the proposer. Regardless, a
pure numerical count of first opinions is a poor method by which to
decide something.

And yet you successfully used pronouns throughout that statement.

Hopefully the library will also affect shortening where appropriate.
