I am a casual Boost user and for my part, I think it is completely okay to
drop support for old compilers if it reduces interdependencies in Boost. I'd
love for BCP to someday tell me that I need only one or two header-only
libraries when I use one library, rather than 8 or 9. If dropping support
for older compilers goes some way towards this, I'm all for it. I use VC++
2010 and GCC 4.7.

Kind regards,

Philip Bennefall
