FWIW, I agree with you. I like the looks of your EDSL. My suggestion:
Look to the success of C#'s LINQ queries, and aim for that. If you can
design your EDSL so it can be extended to bind to in-memory data
structures, then it would be HUGE.
Listen to your gut and don't be afraid to say no.
