 Is everyone somehow waiting for me to decide? As far as I can tell, the
 workable solution above seems to be that BB creates all variants by
 default when target-os=windows, but frankly once it was understood that
 changes by others to BB broke the "getting started" guide I stopped trying
 to figure out exactly what the best solution to the problem was.

 No, but I'm not yet sure what change is needed. s/libboost_regex-
