If I understand you correctly, these are great news. So, using M6 and bjam as
of 2003-07-09, you had lots of memory eaten. Version from 2003-07-10 works
ok. On "2003-07-09 09:49" Moscow time I've comitted fix for a serious bug,
and this can account for the difference. The bug was logical, but it would
not surprise me if it caused increased memory consumption.

It at all possible, can you try build the CVS HEAD state of jam and see if it
works OK?

I'd really wish that Boost.Build was hosted in Subversion repository. Instead
of those dates and timezones, we'd have a single revision number to talk
about.
