Boost-Build :

Hi,
my current plan is to release M8 on Sep 24, with focus on two things:

- implementation of regression testing framework for boost
- further optimizations

The first one should allow using V2 to run boost tests on supported compilers.
I previously expressed some ideas about "better" test system design, but now
porting existing and working "testing.jam" seems like a best alternative.

I believe this should not be very hard, and is willing to try it myself. But
if Dave, as author of V1 testing.jam, will be interested and have the time to
do it, that would be great.

As for optimization, I'll continue to pick parts which consume most of the
time, and do something about that. However, I'd really appreciate if users
could run "bjam -n -d+12" on their projects and send me the output. (Of
course, I'm interested in results from most current Boost.Build).
Otherwise, I might end up optimizing only my project.

- Volodya
