Mike,
could you please try building bjam yourself according to the
instructions at
http://www.boost.org/regression-logs/cs-win32_metacomm/doc/html/jam/building.html
and tell us if it works any better for you? That will give us a good
idea of whether the bjam executable you downloaded is corrupted or not.
