Thank you for taking the time to reply to what I know was an older post.
The information has been helpful. I use bjam/BoostBuild for all of my own
work; however, I'm not doing anything real special and typically don't
have any problems. I've been trying to get a handle on what issues people
are having with BoostBuild specifically.

I don't think your list is unreasonable. They seem like the type
of things you would want to do for testing. I use my own jam files for
testing the way I like to test. It seems the problems you have indicated
are issues with the test infrastructure and perhaps it needs to be more
flexible. Of course, the rule is that increased flexibility means
increased complexity (more options).
