Right, adding implicit-dependency in status/Jamfile.v2 like this:

   project status
      : source-location $(BOOST_ROOT)
      : requirements <hardcode-dll-paths>true
+ <implicit-dependency>/boost//headers
      ;

does not make any difference in my tests.
