I'm trying to build Boost.Python 1.41.0 in OS X 10.6, and I'm hanging at the linking stage of extending.so. I searched around on Google for a while and found a similar problem back in 2008. The problem was patched back in Boost 1.37.0, however it is giving me problems now.
On my system I have Python 2.6 installed with gcc at i686-apple-darwin10-gcc-4.2.1 (GCC) 4.2.1 (Apple Inc. build 5646)
