Isha,

You may want to look at the attachment in the first message of this thread: http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.lib.boost.build/15732.  It contains an example RVCT toolset which is somewhat close to what you need for RVDS.

Vladimir,

Ok. Thanks for the explanation. I now understood what you meant to say. Here is the detailed step by step explanation of my problem-

1) I built the boost libraries for Microsoft Visual Studio with toolset=vc8

2) I compiled a program including the boost header file for an example, boost/any.hpp on Codewarrior for RVDS 3.0

3) Gives me foll error

error # 439 : expected a '>'

in the typetraits header file, which ofcourse has been provided by boost.org.

So i tried to build the boost libraries for metrowerks as the toolset. But it gives me the foll error on command prompt at the time of build

'mwcc' is not recognised as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

This is because i am not using metrowerks codewarrior. But i am using Metrowerks Codewarrior for RVDS 3.0 and so mwcc.exe (which is in the installation folder of Metrowerks Codewarrior) is not there in Metrowerks Codewarrior for RVDS 3.0 and there is armcc.exe available in the installaton folder.

I hope this explains my problem properly so that I atleast get some hint of what to do or try.

Isha Bagga

Isha,

I am sorry if I was unclear. I don't think anybody on this list has this
compiler. Therefore, nobody can even try building Boost with it, much less
fix any issues. Therefore, nobody will provide you with any "solution" that
you can just use.

If you really need to use Boost with that compiler, you get to do all the work,
and the ask specific questions, like "I do (1), then (2), then (3) and get this
compile error".
