Stefan,
This is described at
http://www.boost.org/build/doc/html/bbv2/reference/tools.html#bbv2.reference.tools.compiler.gcc
Could you check whether it answers your questions?
Thanks,
Volodya
Hello,
I'm afraid this is a pretty basic question, but as I couldn't find any
answer online, I'm asking here:
What is the canonical way to define my own toolset variant, including
command-line options ?
Specifically, I'd like to set up my environment so I can build boost
with some non-default compiler options (notably, "--std=c++11").
I know I have to add a line of the form "using gcc ..... ;" to my
user-config.jam file, but I'm not sure about the exact incantation I need.
(That might be a useful addition to the FAQ in
http://www.boost.org/build/doc/html/index.html)
Thanks,
Stefan
