This is an informal posting about a job opportunity at Oracle.
The MySQL Optimizer/GIS group is looking for a software
engineer/computational geometer. The interested applicant is expected to
have experience in implementing geometric algorithms and data structures
and be proficient in C++. The role consists primarily in working with
the open source Boost.Geometry library. Familiarity with GIS-related
problems as well as databases would be a plus.
