[Boost-testing] [QNX6] [python] Requesting changes for QNX compatibility

Back in early November we discussed changes for type_id.cpp and 
python.jam to ensure QNX6 campatibility. Could these please be 
incorporated into HEAD?

Do you still have the changes on file, or should I repost them?
