Hi all,

I'm trying to set up regression testing on a Solaris 5.10 box on the 1_34_1 release but am encountering some initial pbs.

Attempting different combinations of the following still results in gcc being used as a toolset for building both the libs and pjl:

python regression.py --runner=diamond --local=./boost_1_34_1.tar.gz ./bjam --toolsets=sunpro --pjl-toolset=sunpro

Results in:

# Preinstalled "/tmp/smoss/boost_tests/process_jam_log" is not found; building one...

# Warning: No bootstrap toolset for "process_jam_log" was specified.

#          Using default toolset for the platform (gcc).

and when it comes to the build:

Building Boost.Regex with the optional Unicode/ICU support disabled.

Please refer to the Boost.Regex documentation for more information (don't panic: this is a strictly optional feature).

warning: No toolsets are configured.

warning: Configuring default toolset "gcc".

warning: If the default is wrong, you may not be able to build C++ programs.

warning: Use the "--toolset=xxxxx" option to override our guess.

etc.

In trying to pre-build pjl I get  ">> Signal 11:    while processing process_jam_log.cpp at line 378."

Platform details:

bash$ uname -a

SunOS diamond 5.10 Generic_118833-33 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-V490

bash$ CC –V

CC: Sun C++ 5.8 2005/10/13

Before looking into this further, has anyone had any experience with these problems? Specifically building process_jam_log is a showstopper it seems.

TIA,

s
