Looking at those results reminds me that the Release version of random still
contains the failure raised in the ticket @
http://svn.boost.org/trac/boost/ticket/1423, which was fixed in Trunk a while
back. Is it worth merging that change into the release branch?
      
Yes, as long as it is stable on trunk, and can done right away.

    

The change in question only applies to MSVC and the 7.1/8/9 tests are all green
on Trunk, so it looks ok.
  
they sure as hell weren't all green from me the last time I looked at the website
I can't make the change though (i don't have SVN access). The original Trunk
change was commited by Marshall Clow.
