I get the same error running on windows.

Is there a git.exe in the %Path% ?

Note, I have no idea if a git.exe is even possible.. As I stopped investigating git implementations on Windows (except deciding that if I ever had to use git on Windows I would use Eclipse git) more than two years ago.
