OK.. Figured out how to install git.. And run the testing. And I don't see the problem you had. It runs the testing scripts and succeeds the bootstrap and PJL build. Here's what my system says:

===

$ uname -a

FreeBSD vbfreebsd93 9.3-RELEASE FreeBSD 9.3-RELEASE #0 r268512: Fri Jul 11 03:13:02 UTC 2014     root@snap.freebsd.org:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC  i386

===

And it's a bare minimum fresh 9.3 install into a vm with just python, curl, and git added. And nothing else. I used this as the test command:

===

$ python run.py --runner=TESTING --toolsets=clang --libraries=predef

===

Sorry for the late reply.. But I've been trying to replicate this and I'm stuck. The FreeBSD9.3 VM I'm setting up is refusing to install git :-( Thought I'd update you so that you don't think I'm ignoring this.

This is using the new boostorg/boost/regression repo.

Both master and develop branches shunt with:
    ERROR: rule "gcc.init" unknown in module "toolset".

Technically, it shunts not finding process_jam_log.

Platform: FreeBSD 9.3-RELEASE-p2
