The easiest way to cause it to exist is to download the Boost tarball
from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=7586, and
download a Boost.Jam executable or go to the tools/build/jam_src
directory of your unpacked Boost tarball, and execute

        ./build.sh

Details at http://www.boost.org/more/getting_started.html#Preparation.

Do *not* download the boost-build package from
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=7586; that is an
unreleased future version of the build system.
