Do not use any option while installing. It will work.

I wanna build boost1_40
on a linux 64 machine (this is the my machine configuration)
2.6.28-11-generic #42-Ubuntu SMP Fri Apr 17 01:58:03 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux
compiler Intel 11.0
when I run
./bjam --toolset=intel
I have this error message
