Dear All, Marshall,

In that case, Does anyone tried using  "gcc" on HP-UX ?
I found that 'gcc' is not supported officially by HP-UX and there is no active community support for using "gcc on HP-UX".

Is there any other good compiler option for HP-UX that is currently been tried and tested ?
Please suggest.

Hi All,

I am trying to compile boost 1.45.0 on HP-UX with HP compiler ( acc ) having version A.06.26.
OS version : HP-UX 11iV3 on IA-64

Question : Does anyone has experience of compiling boost with aCC compiler ? Does boost listed aCC as supported compilers ?
As I tried to compile and compilation failed at points generating errors. I need to use boost for some production level software and if such issues occur, I wonder i may not be able to use boost on HP-UX.
Looking at the test bots here:

it doesn't look like anyone is testing (regularly) against aCC.
