IUUC, moving from v1 to v2 would require significant effort, so I'd
try and use the bleeding-edge, despite its current state.

Bleeding edge have been merged in trunk, it's supposed to be the version proposed to boost,

so you'd better use this one indeed.

v1 works nicely anyway too.
