The solution I'm looking for does not need to be super-high-res. With microsecond precision I would guess, millisecond accuracy. Not nanosecond by any means.

I am using Boost 1.53. A little unclear what the docs are talking about. If I can go header only, and if it is advantageous to do so, I'd like to.
