I had occasion over the weekend to have to deal with a file that had
obviously been edited in both UNIX and DOS editors over the years.
MultiEdit displayed garbage when opening in Windows default mode, and a
mostly clean file with some boxes in place of LF when opened in UNIX mode.
Strangely, the VC++ editor opened it with no problems (now there's a
surprise). So I'm going to have to say it ain't standard yet <g>.
