And I can instantly tell that an application was buit in Java, because its
look & feel differs from all of the other applications on my desktop.
[[ I had a Java app once which I couldn't run on my server, because it
needed a 256-colour display and my server had an old 16-colour graphics
card. This thing was popping up one or two configuration dialogs, for
heaven's sake!!! Don't get me started on Java's GUI model :-( ]]
