Hi,
after there were claims of inactivity and at least some problem
description which, IMO, is already far too far down the road, I have
uploaded my first stab at the documentation of for the Boost Threading
Library to <http://www.egroups.com/files/boost/threads/threads.html>.
Although this documentation claims at some points that it is
"authoritative", it is not, at least not at this point: Remember that
I'm absolutely clueless with respect to multi threading ;-) I just
don't like the approaches mentioned so far in the threads concerning
threads... The intentation is, however, that this stuff becomes
authoritative. For now it is just a starting point. Since I'm almost
certainly not the right person to do this whole work, contributions
from whoever has ideas, input, constructive feedback, etc. is welcome.
Destructive feedback is best sent to /dev/null directly.
