According to several sources, Per Brinch Hansen's last name is "Brinch
Hansen". Two words, with an intervening space. I've seen it spelled
"Brinch-Hansen", but apparently that isn't correct.
He is Distinguished Professor of Computer Science at Syracuse
University. He teaches a course in Parallel Programming in (Gasp!) Java.
His web page is at http://web.syr.edu/~pbhansen/ He must be color
challenged. Amoung his books is The Search for Simplicity, subtitled
Essays in Parallel Programming.
