Well I contribute because its the easiest way for my employers to get the
benefit of my years of experience. I can always go back to boost and get an
update! Also whoever helps me, helps themselves. Plus none of the employers
I've had were in the library business, so no conflict of interest. So yes
that does rule out LGPL licenses for me.

I haven't been to the meetings mostly because of cost. I came near to
getting to the Toronto meeting as I have folks in N.Y. but I had already
done a trip 2 months earlier, dang! So if you have a Seattle Meeting I'll be
there! Maybe in a few years this will change and I'll suggest a meeting in
Tahiti, purely on the scientific benefit you understand...:>

Anyway I like working to such a high standard as to be not just library
quality but "std" library quality. It does slow me down a bit, as the amount
of work to get a big library ready is huge. But its worth it.
