Irix compiler tests

There seems to be something strange going on with the Irix compiler tests
and the regex library, the log file for regex_test.cpp ends with:

ld32: WARNING 84 : /usr/lib32/mips4/libm.so is not used for resolving any
symbol.
./boosttmp.exe ../libs/regex/demo/regress/tests.txt
Fail

So it looks as though the program builds OK, but that invocation of the
program fails - the thing is, regex_test.cpp will always print some output
to indicate what's going on, but I see nothing here, anyone have any ideas?
