I agree. Dave, John, could you fix the makefiles to create the
appropriate library names?
For now I'll simply rename them.

Unfortunately this doesn't compile because of gcc's lack of a <limits>
header. :-(
Do you know a workaround? Maybe I could throw a limits into the boost/
directory?
