I think it uses
template<typename Y>
  auto_ptr(auto_ptr<Y> &rhs);

because if I undef the BOOST_NO_ARGUMENT_DEPENDENT_LOOKUP for MSVC I get
errors about multiple definitions of 
  auto_ptr(auto_ptr &rhs);
