I've looked through the source archives for all available issues in 
this year with out finding such an implementation.  Can you determine 
precisely where such an implementation exists?  The typeof() method 
is the biggest missing functionality to the C++ language, IMHO, and 
if a purely library implementation can be done I'd love to see it.
