Thanks for trying that out, there are still rough edges to the code, and
not all the tests are failing when they should.

I also have a completely recast version of config.hpp that splits
configuration up into separate compiler/library/platform/user issues, I'm
still testing this at present, but as it already passes more tests under
win32 than the current version, I hope to post this soon, I really need to
get my finger out and document the thing though...

I'll also try and add your changes to the tentative version.
