Got it. You get a 'jam0' from the initial build using 'make',
and then (in my case):
bin.linuxx86/jam
by running jam0.

OK. Now what? I tried saying
jam
in the top level of boost. No luck, unless it built
the whole system in .01 seconds. :-)
