At the risk of boost::blasphemy, the low-tech alternative is beginning
to sound pretty good to me (for your situation):

class MyClass // noncopyable
{
public:
private:
        MyClass(const MyClass&); // Not defined
        MyClass& operator=(const MyClass&); // Not defined
};
