Your MACROs could be used, but I think most users
would simply use the code as a template and paste 'n' patch
in the values. Surely it is unlikely to be too many?
(Many user constants are only required in a single representation,
usually double, so const double ninety_nine = 99.; will do?)
Perhaps we should provide a 'template' or example file
which makes this easier?
