Well, it was not in version 1.25.0 I am using now. And I did not see
announcement for this change. Iit is pretty big modification
(including change in the interface). At least I do not see it now on
boost.org.

P.S. in cvs "equal" accepts 2 iterator adapters, so both arguments
changed.
