We need something like this, definitely. I get really sore typing these:
template <class Class, class Member, Member (Class::*mp)>
struct get_member
{
static Member& execute(Class* c)
{
return c->*mp;
}
};
get_member<X, int, X::a>::execute(x);
when I should at least be able to say:
get_member<X::a>::execute(x);
