I managed to get WinHTTrack to do what I want in terms of downloading (after
MUCH hacking at options!)

If someone wants to volunteer some help, what I need now is to strip all the
html garbage out of the messages and put them in the format used for Mailman
archives (mbox). That would be hugely appreciated!

In case you can't give the brower itself away: Can you read all messages
using it and pass the messages to David?
