_1 (boost.bind)

Building boost with gcc-3.0.4 on FreeBSD 4.4, i'm getting tons of that:

/home/egorovv/src/boost/boost/bind/placeholders.hpp:35: warning: identifier 	
   name `_1' conflicts with GNU C++ internal naming strategy

Any suggestion?
IMHO, it's not a very good idea to use those _ things in library's public 
interface.
