I have attached a couple of source files. Would somebody be so
kind as to forward them to whoever it is that maintains the Boost
CRC component? They implement a 64-bit CRC, which when last I
checked Boost didn't have yet. This is the CRC used in modern
tape drives, as extracted from PostgreSQL and C++ified.
I apologize for imposing on the group by not looking up the
responsible party myself, or composing the code appropriately
for inclusion; this is all I have time for at the moment, and
I thought it might be more useful to have it now, as-is, than
to wait until someday when I have more time.
