There is a PEP (Python Enhancement Proposal) currently under discussion
which covers issues similar to those we were discussing earlier about
how to provide constrained genericity in C++. I thought some might be
interested in checking it out:
http://python.sourceforge.net/peps/pep-0246.html
Python and generic C++ have a lot in common; this might provide insights
into what we ought to do in C++. If you have any comments, I'd be happy
to forward them to the Python developers.
